Ingredients

  • 1 Pizza dough crust
  • 1 box mac n cheese prepared per box directions
  • garlic salt
  • beer cheese
  • ½ lb ground beef
  • ½ Tbsp Montreal Steak Seasoning
  • 1 onion chopped
  • chopped bell pepper optional
  • ½ lb bacon optional
  • colby jack cheese shredded

Optional Pizza Toppings

  • red onion diced
  • shredded lettuce
  • dill pickle chips
  • tomato diced

Instructions

  • If the mac n cheese isn't already made, make it now per the package instructions.
  • Add ground beef, chopped onion, and Montreal Steak Seasoning to a skillet and cook until the meat is browned and onions are soft. Drain grease.
  • If you desire the optional bacon, cook it while cooking the other toppings until it's crispy. Drain grease and crumble bacon.

Pizza Assembly

  • Roll out pizza dough and place on floured pizza pan. (Try my Perfect Pizza Dough)
  • Spread beer cheese all over dough as the pizza base. Try my recipe here.
  • Add the mac n cheese to the crust and sprinkle with garlic salt. Follow with the shredded colby jack, then the ground beef mixture and optional bacon.

To Cook

  • Option 1: My favorite option. Prep/Turn on a smoker to 450° and smoke the pizza for 10-15 minutes until the cheese is melted and starting to brown, and the crust is crisp and golden.
  • Option 2: Bake in a preheated oven at 450° for 10-15 minutes until cooked to the specifications in option 1. (my oven's sweet spot seems to be around 12 minutes).
  • Once cooked, add any of the optional toppings you desire. Slice and enjoy!
